Along with a link of where you can purchase them and why I love each item. Let me know in in the comments if you have been loving any of these items!
Gift Guide 2016
No sweat by Michelle Segar – This book was a game changer for me this past year. If you have been struggling with finding your fitness mojo this is the book for you. Michelle really helps you rethink what exercise means and how we have been getting it wrong these past few decades.
Fitbook- Workout journal (also at Target) – I have been using this as a workout book and journal at the same time. Since becoming a mom I haven’t had time to do both as much as I would have in the past. I found the combo book to be just the thing to jot down a few workout notes & record my thoughts all in one easy place.
Body Thrive by Cate Stillman – Cate is the leader of the 9 month Ayurveda program I’m currently taking. This book breaks down yoga philosophies into 10 habits. Each build upon the other. This book is all about building new habits using old wisdom. A must if you’re looking to adapt a more yoga outlook on life.
The Universe has your Back- Gabby Bernstein – A book to help you release old stories and discover how to let go of fears that might be holding you back in your life. Gabby tells stories that are relatable in each chapter and gives you exercises to work on throughout the book to really take your mental game to the next level.
The Ayurveda cookbook by Kate O’Donnell – My new favorite cookbook. Perfect for those looking to cut out processed foods and eat a more natural based diet. Along with the awesome recipes she has a great seasonal guide. Each season has specific recipes for you to try based on the time of year. Kate also discusses why eating like this can help change your life.
Crazy Sexy Love Notes- Kris Carr– My favorite card deck for many reasons. I found Kris card deck to be a great inspiration to start my day. They are beautifully designed with motivational sayings on the backside of the card. A great way to start your day or gather inspiration in the middle of your day.
TruthBomb- Danielle Laporte – Another one of my favorite card decks is from Danielle LaPorte. She has beautifully written inspirational cards again to give you a little motivation during your busy day.
Flybird apparel shirts – I stumbled upon this company via instagram and cannot believe the beautiful shirts they have. I use them to train clients in or to wear if I’m going out to run errands. (I would say date night but we’ve only been on 2 since my son was born 9 months ago) I love the quality of the fabric and the cut and style. Super comfy and bonus a women owned business.
Beyond Yoga – One of my new favorite legging brands. They are not new on the market but new to me. They are super comfortable not to tight and have high waisted option for those who enjoy a little more coverage (especially doing yoga, no hiking up the pants). I also love their long pants as most that I have found run short on me still this brand does work for those who are on the tall side (I’m 5’10”).
Suzy Toronto Calendar – My must buy calendar every year. If you have not seen her work she packs a ton of inspiration and comedy into one calendar. Two things I love. They are beautifully designed and will keep you motivated all month long.
Let me know what looks super exciting for you this coming year. Please let me know your favorite fitness find in 2016. I’m always on the look out for inspirational gifts to give to others.
Go out there and spread your peaceful power,
